Our vandal resistant emergency assistance alarm range offers tough, cost‑effective, BS 8300‑2 and document M compatible systems suitable for public use. We supply stand‑alone alarms, multiple alarm systems with remote monitoring and combined systems with disabled refuge EVCS, building alarms, etc. For larger and smarter sites, we offer networked solutions with optional BMS interfaces. Ideal for hospitals, railway stations, hotels, airports and other public spaces.
Our alarm reset units are local alarm controllers with integral reset buttons. These units continually monitor pull cords, call points, etc. activating beacon sounders and other indicators when an alarm is triggered. The reset button is used to reset (or cancel) the alarm after an incident has been resolved. Reset units are usually installed inside an alarm zone to allow users to cancel the alarm and to ensure alarm responders visit the location in response to an alarm.
Compliant emergency assistance alarms cannot be reset remotely.
This vandal resistant reset/controller offers basic alarm control and operation. The unit has a single reset button which illuminates to indicate the alarm state. The front plate is made from brushed finish stainless steel and is annotated in black with the word RESET. Other finishes and alternative annotation including tactile and Braille are available on request.
The main PCB has screw terminals for easy cable connection and the entire assembly mounts in a standard UK, 35mm, single gang back box.
This unit does not have an acknowledge function and may not be compatible with current British Standards for emergency assistance alarms.
For more advanced applications we offer a range of alternative controller/reset units with various local and remote acknowledge options.
