Emergency assistance reset beacon sounder units combine the functions of alarm reset and controller with alarm beacon sounder in a single unit. These combined units are usually installed outside an alarm zone to attract attention in the event of an alarm and allow access to reset alarms.
To comply with British Standards an additional reset buttons may be required.
Our DT7540.41 is usually supplied with a vandal resistant reset button but can be supplied with a keyed reset switch to prevent reset by unauthorised persons. The reset button or keyed switch must be held for at least 0.25 seconds to reduce the risk of an accidental alarm reset.
The standard unit has a stainless steel plate annotated in black with the words ASSISTANCE REQUIRED, AUTHORISED PERSONNEL ONLY and RESET. Alternative finishes and annotation are available on request.
This unit is suitable for mounting in a standard UK, 35mm, double gang back box, anti‑tamper fixings available on request.
