Our custodial cell call products range offers a comprehensive collection of tough, reliable, standard cell call units, for use in Magistrates' Courts, Police Custody Suites and similar high security establishments. As original manufacturers we also design and build custom units made to match existing systems, offering simpler and more cost‑effective solutions for maintenance and upgrades to legacy systems.
CRUs are installed outside cells to indicate the source of a call and allow calls to be reset/cancelled. We offer a variety of CRUs with additional features e.g. light switches for different types of facilities, but they all have a large LED beacon and a means to reset calls.
Cell calls can only be reset at the corridor reset unit (CRU).
The CC 9004‑205 is a vandal resistant corridor reset unit (CRU) with a large dome LED call beacon, an iButton reset and three mains light switches. The large dome LED is visible from the side, ideal for observing along corridors, etc.
The iButton reset prevents unauthorised resets and provides traceability. Each iButton fob has a unique 64‑bit number enabling the system to record which fob was used for each reset.
The unit offers 3 mains light switches to control cell lighting. The switches can be annotated as required.
RJ45 connectors and screw terminals are used for connection to the main control system ‑ simplifying installation and maintenance.
The standard panel is made from brushed finished stainless steel and annotated in black with the words LIGHTING, MAINS, NIGHT, TOILET and RESET. Other finishes and alternative annotation are available on request.
